#7 What Is Vibe Coding?

Vibe coding is a practical, fast way to build MVPs using AI and modern tools, making it possible for non-technical builders to ship real products without any coding experience.

What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding is about building fast and learning as you go. It prioritises speed and creativity over perfection, using modern tools and AI to turn ideas into working projects. It works for both technical and non-technical builders, with the focus on experimentation, MVPs, and momentum rather than enterprise-grade systems.

A simple vibe-coding stack
Vibe coders usually pick tools that reduce setup time and complexity so they can focus on features.

A beginner-friendly stack for a hobby project or MVP:

  • - Supabase for the backend

  • - Vercel for the frontend

  • - DeepSeek API for cost-efficient AI features (eg. chatbot, summarising, etc.)

Which AI tool should you use? Honestly, whichever you’re comfortable with.

That said, Claude (Anthropic) has released Cowork, which allows you to give the AI access to a your computer  so it can help with end-to-end building. To explore this properly, you’ll need a paid subscription (around $14). The Arazame team currently rates it as one of the best tools they’ve seen so far. Explore more options out there.

What this means for you
With some practice and trial and error, it is realistic to build something useful and even sellable. The best stack is the one you understand, can use confidently, and can maintain over time.

Do not know where to start?
1. Go to Claude. Pay subscription for 1 month. (Cancel it immediately if it’s just trial)
2. Install Claude app on your computer.
2. Go to supabase. Create a free account.
3. Go to vercel. Create a free account.
4. Now, time to build! Navigate to Cowork and prompt the following:
Claude, I need to build X, Y, Z from scratch. It should be web and mobile-friendly, prioritize security and authentication, use Supabase as the backend and Vercel for the frontend, and be stored in a private GitHub repo or folder for now. Guide me step-by-step, help me create accounts, connect you to both vercel and supabase with full control if possible, design the database schema, explain how to maintain and deploy the repo, outline scaling and cost considerations, and ask clarifying questions before building.

Static websites are built once and served as-is, which makes them fast, secure, and affordable. With free hosting options available, they offer businesses an easy way to get online and grow without rebuilding from scratch.
